Look at this fucking monkey, Howie Schwartz.
He is the king of all SEOs, and most likely who's attacking us here, given his 'genius' black hat methods. He pretty much spells out IN HIS OWN AD how we are being targeted. These slimy fuckers are giving me carpal tunnel syndrome and all I get in return is the knowledge that they're genetically inferior. Hmph.
So, don't click on any of these new user's links, it will only make it worse. And now the little fuckers are posting comments and diaries!
Google says we're not alone in this, other sites are having the same problem. Whether or not anything will be done about it is the question. Since Saturday there have been near 200 spam accounts added here. Before that it was one or two a month.
I've lost count the number of times these past years I've seen Zio-bloggers spin the Sabra & Shatila massacre, where thousands of unarmed Palestinian refugees(and some Lebanese) died, into anti-Palestinian propaganda Gold. The technique of burying the backstory and relying on the genuine disinterest of the US populace usually works like a charm. Great post from Richard Seymour today, near its anniversary.
Long before Sabra and Shatila, the earliest targets of the war included refugee camps such as Rashidiyeh, which was reduced to rubble. Its residents fled or were killed, and those who were caught were rounded up and taken to a nearby beach to watch the destruction. All males of teenage years and older were blindfolded, handcuffed, and taken away. And they were not heard from again. Again, the Ain el-Hilweh refugee camp was largely flattened by bombing, and its mosque bulldozed afterwards. Approximately 100 mangled bodies were found under the mosques ruins. Hospitals were destroyed, orphanages flattened by cluster and phosphorus bombs, a school in Sidon was destroyed with 300 inside killed and, with ruthless efficiency, the Israeli army blew housing blocks and apartments to craters, if they suspected that there might be PLO activists inside. Hundreds of thousands of refugees - mostly women and children, since males were more robustly dealt with - were wandering aimlessly through Lebanon's carnage, starving and out of their minds with terror, before Sabra and Shatila. And all the while, incidentally, liberal and left-wing figures from the United States were taking IDF tours of southern Lebanon, cheering on the bloodshed. Jane Fonda, who had funded the Viet Cong, found herself conscripted to Israel's army of overseas cheerleaders, as did Tom Hayden, the former Sixties radical. Michael Walzer's verdict can be summarised in the simple phrase: "just war".
Only sick people like me will have noticed this...and by sick I mean that I actually watched the entire Obama wheedle tonight...and on Fox News no less.
The United States has yet to call the Honduran coup a coup. The rest of the world has. When the ousted, democratically elected president tried to return today he was greeted by the Honduran military.
I'm tired of stories, so here are some pictures. Our Honduran military base. And what we use it for.
Since day one I've said that I'd post emails, aside from those specifically regarding petty tech issues.
One such email arose today that skirts the line, so instead of posting the entire email, here's a little PSA.
When a diarist's margins are busted by a commenter I will not delete the post, but if this becomes an egregiously repetitive problem by any one user that account may be suspended. But of course I am far from such action. So far this has not been a problem.
My email reply:
No. Repeated margin busting will be addressed but I'm definitely not erasing posts. Anyone who repeatedly and egregiously does this will be suspended. PSA. This email will be made public. Sorry for any grief this causes, but margin busting IS NOT a terminal offense. It's just not.
Never drink Underberg Bitters as a cocktail substitute. I do these things so you won't have to.
In other LOLnews, Clark Fake RockyFeller pleads Delusional Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He lived like(and as) a Rockefeller for decades but he's actually just some random dude from Germany.
(yes, he was very much into local theater - but only greco-roman ruler roles)
Four men were arrested Wednesday night in what the authorities said was a plot to bomb two synagogues in the Bronx and shoot down military planes at an Air National Guard base in Newburgh, N.Y.
The men, all of whom live in Newburgh, about 60 miles north of New York City, were arrested around 9 p.m. after planting what they believed to be bombs in cars outside the Riverdale Temple and the nearby Riverdale Jewish Center, officials said. But the men did not know the bombs, obtained with the help of an informant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, were fake.
Wow. So it wasn't enough to set up and then frame those poor whelps from Miami, they've added a special antisemitic-twist to this latest group of manufactured domestic terrorists aka The Most Gullible Boyz In Da Hood.
Socrates, after reading this email, I have edited out your email address from said diary. But an email address is not outing, not grounds for banning. It's not like your name was part of it.
Jack used inside contact info to out my email address.
I also see he is making up shit about me. I never posed as young females or anything that supersoling claims I did.
Picture that I am your brother, or a friend, or even just another person, a stranger, then consider what is going on regards me at your website.
He outed my email address. Have you a problem with this?
And to all the whining wah-wahs who are mad about my username hijack policy, SUCK IT!!
Eric Holder at his debut(?) in front of the senate judiciary committee today showed only a few moments of squirmyness. The hearing was mostly pr reinforcement of agenda talking points, with a few local pet gripes thrown in by the panel members. It was only when the chair John Conyers asked Holder why they weren't going to release the detainee abuse photos that he turned to stone and refused to opine.
(fuck I had to copy this by hand straight from CSPAN3, no text online yet)
Conyers:
Let us in on the reasoning involved in your recent decision to reverse course and oppose release of the detainee abuse photos, even after your department had promised the court they'd be released.
Holder:
Well I think, the president consulted with the generals on the ground and made the determination that the release of those photos would endanger our troops. Um...the concern was that the release of those photos could have a negative impact on the situation in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and I think the president, as Commander in Chief, um, after talking to General Odierno I think in particular, um thought that the posture he has now put us in was the better one. We will have to argue that in court and we are prepared to do that, um, but I think the president has made a decision that was consistent with the best interest of our troops.
