There was no antiwar movement in Spokane in 1967, so Otvos downplayed that aspect in order to push his other issues, which remain unclear to me. Drug education? Drugs as liberation devices? But, give Otvos his props for some hippie outreach into the conservative hinterlands, circa 1967. Look upon this episode from the dimlit past as a teaching moment.
Outreach is required for anything resembling pwoggie ideology to ever regain anything like its former industrial strength.

Disaffected Pwogs in coalition are at least alive and breathing. They mite even influence some of the Teabaggers of the libertarian persuasion...particularly if the economy continues to turn sour and rugged individualism doesnt get you fed. Even Alex Jones' stormfront larder will empty, eventually.
