So i'm spending the week out hear in E. Bumfuck Texas, pop. several dozen rednecks.

I'm still trppped too far inside my most excellent memories of the Lena/Glory years to much care about the fact that there is a fucking foot of snow on the ground.

The New York State Thruway West Texas farm-to-market road is closed man! Far out! Lotta freeks!

Last nite was the Johnny Wadd of Texas blizzards, man, like, can you dig it?

12 glorious inches of white stuff all over yur face...post yur favourite caucasian music videos of all time here...

Asian girls can look so delicious. (3.50 / 2)
But I'm just wired for blondes.

Tho come to think of it, it was the Jewish girls that melted the fillings out of my teeth.

Considering what donkeytale has written elsewhere, this is why some might consider him to be a historic troll. And I don't mean that in a good way.

Most boyz have had gay sex with other boys or men before they are 13...

My own first experiences were at 12 were with a longtime neighborhood friend who was 15....

In the case of my Okie friend, he was the pursuer of gratfication from an adult when he was a minor.

Your mind set leads inexorably to bad law and criminalizes victimless activity....

That hot blond school teacher in Florida a few years back. She molested the 15 yr old boy? Wright....believe me if that was molestation, then I would desire plenty of that type of molestation. We both wished we could have been molested like that at 15, dont we?

That was actually a very interesting thread at MLW. It shows how MaryScotty ruined what should have become the #1 blog by running off the more interesting bloggers like myself and Francis. I know, that probably sounded pretentious of me. But whatevah, I'm definitely a classic trollbuster and I guess historic troll. The latter the good kind like I begrudgingly admit you are.

Thanks for giving me some props in that thread.

Is it me, or did Curmudgetteface refer to Socrates as Athens? I've never had the username of Socrates, always socrates with a lower case letter s.

I actually loved how both of you beat on each other very effectively. It was like watching the Yankees and Blue Jays beat on each other, while the Saux cruise into first place.

Well, if I had to give an award for most pretentious blogger, it would be Mudge. We'll give the honouravle mention to Fakereft. Ha, I combined our nicknames for him.

I'd say you're a funny guy, Sal. But Laurajohn would say only in reruns. If you don't know that movie reference, apologies in advance.

Hendrix is better backwards than all of todaze so-called "rock music" combined (0.00 / 0)
Maybe its because he played his guitar upside down.

I jammed onstage with a band a few years ago where the other guitar player was a lefty who also played a righthanded git upside down.

Its sucked because whenever he started a song I didnt know I couldnt follow his hand positions to learn the chords....

We played a hotel bar in downtown El Paso. It was pretty great. I hadnt been on a stage in awhile. We jammed "Sympathy for the Devil" coming off a break with moi handling lead vocals and bad fake Jagger prancing [oxymoron alert] --  also played some rhythm guitar and mostly sang backup to the chick singer who specialized in old Motown stuff, all of which I know very well....after the show they even invited me to a gig the next weekend, but alas, I was heading back to DFW...someday maybe I'll tell some tales about El Paso.

A wonderful partying city filled with fun-loving people who also can be as crooked as the day is long....

You definitely pegged Mippy (4.00 / 1)
She showed up in the eighth inning and is talking up freepers and posting oh noes111!!1!1. That's so 2005.

Jimi was pretty good. I always wished I'd been born a bit earlier. By the time I figured out sex, drugs, and rock and roll, it was Ronald Reagan time. Well, there you go again.

If I could pick the race or whatnot of my soulmate, it would be African-American. But you know what they say, you can't look for these things, they happen when you're not looking.

Too bad it's easier to find a cheap fling or someone just to be with rather than being alone than to find the eternal one.

As Montgomery Clift once said, "No one ever lies, when they say they're lonely." Or something close to that.

Now that guy had skills.

Yeah he had skillz, but I thot yu said you werent gay? (3.00 / 1)

[ Parent ]
It's just how I think, nothing to do with him being gay (3.00 / 1)
I think you said I was like Burroughs or something, a stream of consciousness schtick. I was talking about soulmates, then I remembered his line about loneliness, then I found that movie. It looks like some of those classics are fully available at youtube. Though talk about white bread. As much as Hollywood and the art world or whatever is now about looks, what sells, dumb things like that, like you said, America has a viciously racist past. So of course it's a joke when fakeleft whines about affirmative action. Not a lefty position.

I actually am a bit gay. I am a lesbian trapped in a man's body. Just kidding. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I just never went gay. I know you don't think that's possible. I do agree with you that there's nothing sick about people being gay. That seems to be your overall message.

Anyway, this feels like I'm hanging out at the convenience store helping the clerk get through a shift. You say you're holed up in some motel for a week? Sounds like a good opportunity to read some books. Get off the internet! Though this has been cool. Thanks for this. Brings back fond memories of our epic threads at Davefromqueens.com where we tried to see how far we could crunch the margins of our posts. [inside joke]

I just watched that flick (4.00 / 1)
I'd seen it when very young, only remembered the boat scene. I won't spoil the ending. I thought that was a very good flick. Just as good as Love Affair. I swear they don't make movies like those anymore. Real dialogue. Thought provoking. I'd say more, but that would give the ending away.

You could tell Clift was the clear cut best actor. Winters and Taylor were good. The other actors were good. But you could see that Clift knew the method. Winters too. But it's awkward to think od her character. If you know this movie, you know what I mean.

Taylor was working on adrenaline or something. I just read Clift was the second person she ever kissed. She was 19.

And this one was total sociology and American Studies. No abortions, era of no sex out of marriage morally enforced, rich versus poor awkwardness. Even a nice African-America lady in there as of course the maid. I think there was some underlying theme that money and ambition ain't what it's cracked out to be. That true love reigns over all. That life can go brutal on anyone at anytime. That it can snowball.

This was based on a real life story too. And the woman who played Clift's mom ended up getting blacklisted for that Red Scare thingie. Perry Mason kind of stunk it up. But highly recommended. Four and a half out of five stars. Thumbs up.

This is why I love the whiteysphere (5.00 / 1)
I go downstairs for teh free breakfast and there's like some people setting up music stands and tuning acoustic guitars in the adjacent conference room. There's an African-American preacher, his Mexican wife, a passle of little Afro-hispanic chilluns underfoot, the Chinese dude who owns the hotel serving waffles shaped like Texas and there's a rather well-maintained platinum blonde of a certain age singing soprano, a coupla oil and gas business type dudez on baritone and moi faking tenor.

They're serving up church for us along with our free breakfast...RIOTOUS! I'm all in, of course.

Cant understand how anyone even the most scientific of atheists, can deny this scene.

A few prayers of thanks, some stories about the Jesus myth, and some rocking singalong...human companions partaking of good cheer and fellowship along the frozen prairie arching around an obscure, uncharted star surrounded by darkness.

In the middle of the day
In the middle of the working day
Don't matter what you say
In the middle of the day

In the middle of the night
In the middle of the lonely night
I saw a shining light
In the middle of the night

And in the middle of the day
In the middle of the Milky Way
Exchange my time for pay
In the middle of the day

But in the middle of the night
In the middle of the starry night
Sometimes it feels so right
In the middle of the night

Atheists tend to be the personification of anal retentiveness (3.00 / 1)
I can go either way with this schtick. There's a time and place to take organised religion to the woodshed. Other times, a cup of stfu wouldn't be a bad idea.

Raymond Burr pissed me off. I'm assuming you know this movie by which I speaketh to the whiteysphere. But at least there was no Karl Malden. I could have sworn Slim Pickens was somewhere in the first scene, but I'd have to google for confirmation.

There's a scene from Easy Rider which I bet hit the spot for you and rubbed it out. When they are chowing on that modest farm with a big family. You can tell they are mixed race or something. They were probably Catholic. The lads were then somewhere in the deep South before reaching Mardi Gras. Maybe in Texass. (No typo there.)

Captain America sed to the guy, I envy you, nice plot of land, good family, food, whatever the fuck else, but it was humility and sincerity all rolled up into one line.

This is what Amerikkka has lost. Reagan took the first bite out of our collective soul. GW and Cheney Inc. the next. Now it's Bitterness City 24/7.

You're not going to believe this, and I'm not sure myself either, but I might be the reincarnation of Montgomery Clift. Though this time I am not an actor nor bisexual. Not that there's anything wrong with those things.

That guy was cool. He could balance being sensitive without being a pussy. That's why hot chicks like Taylor had his back. I read after he crashed into a pole and was scrunched in his seat, Taylor personally dug her way down his throat to dislodge some teeth he was choking on.

Sad fucking end for the dude. He was tormented his whole life it seems, even before crashing his car. But it's tough to get at the origin of that, and I'm kind of not interested in reading his childhood biography, especially if there's a chance I already experienced it. p:>

Well stated. I've been around long enuff to know that the absence of religious participation on (4.00 / 1)
the Left is one of the demobilising factors that led to its demise. Not wanting to work or organize laborers is the other shoe thats dropped on the fakeleft.

I often tell teh story about my couple years in the Socialist Labor Party, my hi skkkool social studies teacher was like the local comrade-in-arms, or WTF.

Now, as a committed Marxist he didnt believe in God as a but he understood that the people needed their opiates until the Revolution came along to create the working class paradise on earth. Haha.

We went to churches every Sunday, not to breathe Marxist fire but to gently raise consciousness, take advantage of the goodwill towards men that exists for an hour per week, maybe raise some money and/or clothes/food for an Injun tribe that we adopted out in Riverside County (the one that now rakes in cash from a casino) or the UFW, or wtf.

See, leftists used churches for their own purposes because we recognized that people congregated in both humanistic fellowship as well as worship of the Jewish deity and his bastard Son. Liberal people, pwoggies, or wtf actually attended church in those daze. Now pwoggies are atheistic ideologues and religion is a pure organizing tool of the right...and looky here, the left is disorganized while the right is very organized! D'uh.

The US Catholic church still promotes some leftist causes, such as immigration rights, but this isnt of interest to the fake left of the whiteysphere, the failed Left which has devolved into the "silence of the typing lambs".

RIOTOUS!

Nice one (0.00 / 0)
You're like the Krishnamurti of the Whiteysphere.

I'm feeling pretty good. I just belted out a new blog entry. I tried to copy and paste it here, but soapblox says it's a no go. Thus, I guess to modify my GBCW, I'll never post my crap here again but leave my two blogs in my signature. Laurajohn is never going to give me top status anyway, even though I could've added something special to this dump. She can keep frontpaging Blews, Stupid, and FakeReft. Any traffic this place gets is obviously because of fingerfockers like ourselves. She could've turned this into a superblog, no problemo, but noooooo [/Belushi Code], she decides to give this pit a death sentence by stamping her Laurajohn editorial stance on the atmosphere. She's making the same mistake MaryScotty made. She might not ban anyone, though Eric contends otherwise, but other than that, she has ensured this place will never go anywhere.

Francis Holland is vindicated once again. He gave out to the soapblox empire for spreading atheism. The irony is a lot of the greatest social activists have been from the liberation theology camp. Ooops, forgot that Markos Moulitsas is pro-El Salvadoran oligarchy, so one shouldn't be surprised he and his sycophants never do squat for the meek.

You have that blogger id now. You should pay Mr. Holland a visit or check out some of the other blogger domains. The Field Negro one is pretty good. I'll find that url for you if you want. You talk a good game, but it would add up better if you made even a small effort to post on some normal blogs. Just my nickel's worth of advice.

Atheism never made any sense to me. Being agnostic, sure. But saying one is sure there is no God is the same thing as saying there is one. It's all faith. You can't prove God doesn't exist.

I think the Left blew it by not going more left. Most people are middle of the road and to the left. You'd think it would be very easy to show the American people how the Republican Party has consistently ruined the economy over the years. Pretty sad that people are so easily manipulated to think otherwise. Or that having safety nets leads to totalitarianism. The buggers are saying Obama is a communist. Wow. He's right of center. He probably votes the same as Lieberman. Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. I admit I fell for the Obama Love Movement. He sure talked a good game. And now I refuse to attack him too much. If the Republicans ever get too much more control, I seriously fear for the future.

Dude, I "rapped" with Field back in the day, both on his blog and MLW (4.00 / 1)
I know him well. He had a big brouhaha with Gilroy but they patched it at a MLW meetup in NYC or Philly, or wtf...I think someone donated a first class ticket for MSOC to make it off her deathbed, y'know. as she requires around the clock nursing care for all of her gravely debilitating chronic illnesses, or wtf.

[:o)

And, uhm, I was like Francis's number one boy on MLW when the feces hit the forced air distribution system over MAMX...so where the fuck were you?

Just kidding....but be cool holmes, be cool. There isnt a whole lot you can put over on an ol dog like moi. This is a perenniel problem for all you Reagan youth, like fakereft and laurajohn and yu. I feel for yu all, the limited perspective, the lack of historical knowledg, at least yu acknowledge the paucity, you try to expand beyond the Repuplikkkan limitations, without being defensively ignorant about it.

Failreft and Laura try to hard to act like "they know" and in so doing make it hilariously obvious that they dont know.

Field Negro is the perfect blogging persona, very very entertaining and humourous while mixing in his message. A perfect bogspotter. You mite figger a way to up yur own entertainment quotient and someday you'll be as popular as him, Jim.

Not that yur not doing preetty f'ing good as it is.

I'm kinda burned out on the Larisa/Brad/Brett/Andy schtick tho....how about some Celtics talk?

MSOC is a sweetie (3.00 / 1)
I hear you on the Larisa, Brad schtick getting stale. As a friend likes to ask, how many times can you hammer in a nail?

I like Gilroy. I don't agree with all of his stuff, but he has a fun schtick to read. Kind of like he's the real blogging curmudgeon, not the other dude. A Jimmy Breslin type, if I'm not mistaken. Speaking of gruff, when I went reading about Monty Clift, I came across some stuff on Hemingway. Talk about a sourpuss. Grrr. My name is Wilford Brimley Papa, now pass me some of that bourbon.

Apologies for any stream of consciousness off-tangents. Though it seems like you are one of the few who accepts my schtick. Man, now that's a golden word, schtick.

Dude, when the FLH thing was going down, I was being you, shadowthief, noom, blogging curmudgeon, and a host of other usernames. All kidding aside, I never even knew you cats existed. I've gone through this before. I figured you guys out after going to DKos in early 2009, after I made mince meat out of MajorDouche.

Yes, you have been the ultimate defender of the whiteyspheric downtrodden and misunderstood. I thank you for that. Good job, laddie.

Thanks for the compliments and a dose of tough love at times. I cranked out a new one on Roseanne. Mostly links and some screenshots. I can crank out blog entries in my sleep. Unfortunately that's what I do, and that's why I'm now awake at the crack of dawn.

I missed the C's game last night. I hope they won. They are on a brutal road trip. Last night was supposed to be the easy one. I will cover my eyes and check out the Boston Globe sports and slowly peek to see if they won. I think tonight is the Lakers. Damn late night games. I guess at least we're not talking some Red Sox-Seattle 18 inning game that ends at heartbreak at 5 am. I like that basketball games don't drag on, although those Hack-a-Shaq and timeout festivals at the end can also be brutal.

I can't wait 'til the trading deadline ends. I don't like speculation. With the C's, it all comes down to KG. If he recovers to close to his game by the playoffs, watch out. Though Doc is kind of nutty with playing the older guys too many minutes. We shall see. I do think the Lakers are overrated. Maybe Kobe is finally getting old? Once that happens, it should be Lebron time. The Hawks are pretty good. I've never had much respect for Orlando. I feel they are kind of soft, launching a lot of three pointers. Dwight Howard is also kind of a disappointment considering how much raw talent he has. If he could improve, he'd be the one people would be talking about, not Kobe or King James.

Its weird, two Sundaze in a row I had long drives to get where I am (3.00 / 1)
and both times there were the Celtics on radio, losing at home in very poor fashion, once to the Lakers and once to the.........Magic? Then the next Friday nite I'm driving home and the Mavs were loosing at home to the T-Wolves. So much loosing at home, relatively rare in the NBA, especially among the better teams. I havent really started watching games yet, in fact I dont really watch TV at all. I have some sort of sleeping disorder: turn on the TV and I fall fast asleep within about ten minutes....blogging keeps me awake much better...nice catch on Roseanne. Roseanne is cool. She captures the zeitgeist most easily...still laff my ass off at her National Antherm schtick...

And I'm right there with you on Tom Arnold. I thot the guy was very funny, both on Roseanne and on the Best Damn Sports Talk Show. He was married to Sandra Bernhardt on the show, wasnt he? She is pure grateness, too. Why am I talking about Arnold in the past tense, anyway?

Kevin Durant is turning headz in this part of the world, especially coming out of UT and all, and now leading the Ok City franchise out of the wilderness...he seems to be the next big thing and he's just a baby...one yr of college and just 3rd yr in the NBA... They drillld the Mavs last nite too...

If you're gonna be a tightwad with the ratings, I'm forced to reciprocate (1.00 / 1)
I mean, my last one deserved at least a 4 spot. p:>

Good thing noomie is taking care of fakereft. Jeebers, that guy never shuts the fock up. He's the energizer bunny of blahg, blahg, blahg.

I also notice we are ultimately the only two who ever dialogue like humanoids. Not just at this website. All of the big forums, no one seems to ever shoot the shit like we do. We're not even just rambling on about insignificant schtuff. There's social commentary in our exchanges. In a way we are more politically effective than these commando types. I truly believe if we weren't posting here, this place would have nothing for traffic, just mostly those spiders and robots coming out of South East Asia.

I too liked Tommy Boy Arnold on That Damn Sport's Show. Good to see you acknowledge his skills. I take it they were a married type from Nowheresville. That's Beatlesque, then, for both of them made a name for themselves out of some small town. Though I believe Liverpool is actually a city.

It's definitely too early to get very serious about basketball. That season goes on forever. Football has it right. Baseball also goes on forever, but at least the general boring nature of it fits in well with lazy, hot summers.

The NBA is in some serious trouble. Word is there is going to be a lockout. The owners even took the unprecedented step of showing the players their books. It seems like half the teams are losing money.

I think besides the obvious problem of lousy refs, the draft has to be fixed. The Celtics got used twice by that thing. I think the lottery, if you have to have one, should be by a fair formula, say between the worst two or three teams. They could play rock, paper, scissors to figure out the top pick. It should be based on finding a way to stop teams deliberately tanking a season, but not at the expense of truly bad teams getting robbed by the lottery.

There's actually pretty decent evidence that the Patrick Ewing selection was rigged. And if people think Phil Donahue was the only corrupt ref, I've got swampland to sell them in Alberta. Yeah, I realise the dude's name isn't Phil Donahue. That's called making a funny.

It'll be nice when that trading deadline is over. I haven't checked the reports yet today. It looked last night that the C's were trading Eddie "The Mansion" House to the Knicks for Nate Richardson. The Celtics fans are losing their minds this year over the state of the C's. Personally, I accept whatever happens in return for winning the 2008 title. I haven't given up on this year's team either. Uhm, tonight is a late night game with the Celtics and Lakers. You should watch that one. I assume it'll be nationally televised.

I also saw you met up with your old flame in Forky's thread, er, not in that thread, you know what I mean! Anyway, congrats on being able to fix some karma that was gnawing away at you. Take it easy, whoever you are.

P.S. I'm worried about Lauren S. Haven't noticed her around in months. Just kidding. About being worried about her. More concerned about Roseanne getting brainwashed by nutjob therapists.

Arnold married Roseanne after she was bigtime, which is why he never gets his due (0.00 / 0)
people automatically assumed he was just her vanity project but the show was definitely better with him present.

The NBA stinks but not a fifth as bad as college sports.

Sports in general sucks. I'm not watching and I'm definitely not going to a game. The last NBA game I went to was Suns-Spurs, playoffs about three years ago. All the light shows, and the music and the over the top PA...wow, and its exactly the same in every arena in the league.

Basically, the only sports I'm into these daze is Danika Patrick.

And not behind the wheel....in front of the camera.

Ok (0.00 / 0)
I refuse to google and research Tom Arnold. I take it then he was another comic, and he met Roseanne in Hollywood or wherever.

I saw him in a few Roseanne episodes. It was kind of strange. I remember him as being one of Dan's buddies, and one episode he hit on Roseanne. I don't know. He plays the smarmy guy kind of good. I see what you mean about him not being taken on his own merits. Look at how I thought he was, a nobody with her in some suburbs, yeah, like you said, somehow a vanity project or got gigs because of who he was married to.

I hear you on the NBA. Red is rolling over in his grave. Cheerleaders. PA announcers. I was watching the end of the Cavs-Nuggets before Celtics-Lakers, some clown twice during the timeouts gave a mini-pep rally, then at the end did that your Chicago Bulls thing, but of course substitute the Cave.

The worst are those canned recordings asking the fans to yell defense. Maybe this is why the home court advantage isn't as strong anymore. It's not real. Back in the day, you didn't have to rouse fans to do their jobs as fans.

Michael Jordan killed basketball. Jordan and David Stern. The star system is a joke. Best team of all time- 1977 Trailblazers. I admit it. No one gave them a chance. The 1986 Celtics maybe. Or the best Magic Johnson team. The Jordan Pippen teams would have been lucky to win one title during the Bird-Magic era. DJ would have shut Jordan the fuck up. That's why DJ should be in the Hall of Fame. Jordan got away with murder from the refs. So this is why basketball sucks- the refs, the commissioner, the plastic atmospheres, the star systems, the salaries. At least in football if a player sucks, they get cut and the contract is voided unless there was an injury. I'm pretty sure on that, not completely. The C's got ripped off actually by the NBA. It wasn't just the tragedy of Lenny Bias. When Reggie Lewis died, the league didn't give the C's any relief for the cap space. Red was like ok, don't give us a draft pick or anything, but don't act like having a guy die yet still having him part of the cap is fair. Red was a genius. Hated flopping. Was the greatest coach and gm perhaps in the whole history of sports. Can't think of anyone better. John Wooden in college hoops, but that's different.

Yes. Bill Walton the best college and NBA big man of all time....except for longevity (0.00 / 0)
He played like swing man. Great quickness inside, a nice jumpshot in the 12-15 ft range, excellent passer, shot blocker and even decent from the FT line.

I've had this argument with folks for years. You have Russell and you have Walton and then you have Kareem and Wilt.

No body buys it, but the record speaks for itself. The year after Portland smoked a great 76er team, they were running through the league at like 40-10 when Walton broke his foot that basically ended his career.

Walton was unbeatable in college, except for that last game against NC State in the finals. That one game keeps him out of the record books, because a win there means three strait NCAA titles. UCLA also had something like an 88 game winning streak in the Walton era.

And Walton's freshman team (freshman couldnt be varsity in that era) beat the Varsity team (of future Celtics Wicks and Lowe), in the annual scrimmage who had only won the NCAA championship th prior year and would go onto repeat that same year.

Jamaal Wilks and Henry Bibby on Walton's team were also great players, especially Wilks who was one of the best fast break finishers and big game players in NBA history in his own wright, winning championships at Golden State and LA.

Jordan's Bulls couldnt hold a candle to the best teams in NBA history because there was no big man inside. The league was very weak during those years, weaker than today even.

My aircraft forum is on fire (3.00 / 1)
All day long there's been from 40-70 guests. That's for two hour periods. I know robots and spiders show up, though many like google and yahoo are registered and don't fit into that number. Not sure if I've hit some kind of breakthrough or if it's something like robots and spiders. Problem is, there aren't too many members, and there's not enough content getting on there to sustain this kind of thing. It seems like there could have been around 500+ guests today. That's a shitload. Back in the day it got up to 200 for a while before fading. I think most small blogs get around 20-70 guests a day. It just shows dumbasses like us can create pockets of awareness, if we keep at it. Also, Francis Holland yet again gave me a hat tip. On his new post, he went after Karmafish. One thread he linked to, I kicked his ass. I also easily took care of MudgeFace and a few others. You must have missed that one. It was in that early period when I first went over there, after MattyJack banned me, and before you guys came over. I think April 2008ish, though not sure. Bottom line is it's fairly easy at this point for most people to know Moulitsas' ties to the CIA. Francis had the last laugh. DKos is a mere shell of what it once was. DFQ, Francis, youse guys, myself at the end to pile on. We's done good.

Just want to plug my original blog (0.00 / 0)
I know you have had kind words for DFQ2, and it's appreciated. But it seems like my first blog is picking up steam, even if it is kind of on fumes.

Lately, when I've been going there, I've seen about 17 other guests. That's over a two hour period, but multiply that by 12, and that's over 200 people. That's the peak it hit a few years back before the strange smear attacks did a lot of damage.

That's a decent percentage of what the bullshit chemtrail forums get. On a related note, I haven't seen much chemtrail action in a long time. I'm not complaining. I like to be woken up by sunshine. Massachusetts in my lifetime has been about blue skies, puffy clouds, or rain clouds.

I done good. The aerosol report thread is now over 10,000 views. Maybe the thing will eventually make a comeback with new members. I'm much more capable now of not going MattyJack style as an admin. But back in the day, it truly got crazy. Blews crazy. Fricken cuckoo banana style. Anyone can check out the top section, and see that I came up with the most logical explanation for chemtrails. I proved they are not ordinary contrails through the words of Patrick Minnis. I might not have made a cent at blogging, but I done pretty good for a nobody.

It moves with the crazy. Man, she actually admitted in that thread, unless I'm mistaken, that she was sexually abused as a child and raped as an adult. I'm done attacking her forevah. I almost wrote her an email telling her I was sorry, blah di dah, but then I snapped out of it. I think her heart is in the right place, like Theresa Duncan's, but she is even more overrated. I used to have the hots for Erin over Mary Ellen on The Waltons. (4.00 / 1)
On a related note, I was much more into Jan than Marcia. Ha, I don't even have to give their last names, and unfortunately everyone knows who I'm talking about. Of course, Maryanne over Ginger. No debating that.

Agreed on both counts, altho I didnt watch the Waltons (4.00 / 1)
No debating the blind blonde over Melissa Gilbert on Little House either.

Shirley over LaVerne.

The mousy producer over Loni Anderson on WKRP (Gzodik mite lodge disagreement)

Tom Hanks in drag over the other guy in drag on that 70s sitcom whose name I cant remember.

Suzanne Somers over the other chick on Threes Company is the easiest call, well except for Ellie May over Miss Jane.

And of course, Veronica over Betty (again Gzodik mite offer a different perspective).

[ Parent ]
Almost (4.00 / 1)
I was late to the Waltons. It's actually not too shabby for white bread.

I might agree with you with that other broad over Melissa Gilbert. Funny how no one to this day remembers the other one's name. But what about Gilbert's younger sister in real life, Darlene, over the what's her face sister on Roseanne? I also liked the original what's her face over the replacement what's her face. The replacement was that lady who ended up on Scrubs. A bit too barbie dollishish for me. I'd like to see a bit of Darlene in every chick.

Oh yeah, Bailey over Loni Anderson. Easy one.

Suzanne Sommers was the obvious choice, but over time Janet has grown on me. And wow, John Ritter was a cool dude. Too bad he died so young.

Can't really agree with you on Hanks over the other guy. Hanks is butt ugly, sorry, even in drag.

Never got into the Archie comics, but it sounds like you're correct.

Shirley over Laverne no contest.

Doberman Pinche over Laurajohn.

I finally watched that show (4.00 / 1)
TVLand was playing it as a Marathon. I kept changing the channel. Eventually it hit me that this was a marathon that would never end. To my shock and chagrin, it wasn't too bad. Yeah, I seen that with Martin Mull and Fred Williard ending up as a couple. Rioticity. I think Shelley Winters played the great grandmom. Can't believe she ended up so bitter with her role in A Place in the Sun stereotyping her. We're not talking Dobie Gillis and Gilligan here. We're not even talking Vivian Vance being cut down a notch by that self-serving whench Lucille Ball. If you can act well, just work through it. Or embrace it like Henry Winkler did.

Yes, Mull was quite the hipster hot property back in the day...those late nite talk show (4.00 / 1)
sendups generated quite the buzz among the cool people, back when there were cool people.

Roseanne rocks. You can have Rosie Odonnell and Ellen and I'll take Rosie every day of the week. Pre-sculpted Rosie, especially.

The domestic Goddess. I forgot that Shelly Winters had a role, Estelle Parsons and Ned Beatty too.

And Bonnie was like on welfare or wtf when Roseanne gave her a part. Delaney and Bonnie were pure greatness. I saw them live once, with Leon Russell as their piano player. Leon alone is one of the greatest rockers of all time. D&B had a great fucking band, many of whom went on to record with Clapton (Derek and the Dominoes), Cocker. The horn section is featured on Exile on Main Street, the best Stones album of them all.

Delaney also fell on hard times, auctioning off a Fender that had been given to him by Hendrix. It fetched like $200K as I recall.

[ Parent ]
Roseanne is good stuff (0.00 / 0)
She has a good heart. Rosie has been a big letdown. I now see her as pretentious. I never thought she was that funny. Roseanne was pretty funny. It's not her fault her voice is kind of annoying. Tom Arnold, her ex, I think that guy has been grossly underrated. Kind of funny, imho.

The weird thing is, funny we are talking about Roseanne, she spoke at one of those crazy mind control conferences I was turning you onto. I'm now looking at a transcript of an interview she did with Larry King. She's talking about having multiple personality disorder. It looks like she ended up with one of those crazy therapists I've been trying to expose.

http://community.livejournal.c...

KING: All right, some see what you have or had as a serious psychological disorder.

ROSEANNE: I like how you just keep going.

KING: Others as psychological fad. Also...

ROSEANNE: A fad?

KING: Whether it's deliberately induced or naturally occurring.

ROSEANNE: Well, I have this head shrinker and he says it's deliberately induced because the CIA is where they started inducing it when after they brought all the Nazis over from Germany to run American Psychiatric Association.

KING: What are you about?

ROSEANNE: I'm telling you the truth. It is all mind control and all kinds of things to invent people with multiple personalities.

KING: So you have been captured by Nazis?

ROSEANNE: The government. Well in a way, I believe the government has implanted some kind of a chip into my head where...

KING: Roseanne.

ROSEANNE: You know, is monitored by Barbara Walters and these other women. And they take all my ideas and I'm, you know.

KING: Yes, is Oprah one of the people monitoring?

ROSEANNE: Of course.

KING: She's definitely in touch?

ROSEANNE: Definitely. I think she sits with her finger on the switch to the chip.

[...]

Hmmm, maybe I should figure this one out and blog on it. I'm not no stinking keyboard commando. I've been having more fun blogging finding things that interest me and seeing where they take me. I definitely understood your critique the other day about one of my blog entries, how it was the same old, same old getting blogged on, or same formula so to speak.

Man, it's late. Just saying I agree with you how so many bloggers are forcing things that aren't there. Fakereft especially. There's a reason why people read Glenn Greenwald and not him. That dude makes sense. FailFake doesn't.

But uhm, oh yeah, we forgot about Sandra Bernhard. She was also on Roseanne. She was also in The King of Comedy. A great flick mocking our late night interview formula crap. Jerry Lewis' greatest role. He ad-libbed the best line in the movie. Rupert Pupkin said, "Jerry, I made a mistake." Jerry belted back, totally improvised, "Hitler made a mistake." The line survived the cutting floor.

I'm cool shit from Generation X, because even when I was young, I was watching the great television of the day. Saturday Night Live from the start. Then Second City Television Network. I never liked cartoons. For real. I was into Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman and of course, Fernwood Tonight. And all those Norman Lear comedies. And fricken Carol Burnett and Sonny and Cher. I used to like all the Bill Cosby movies. Only recently got to see I Spy. Good stuff. The youth of today are missing out.

George's guitar! Not Hendrix, who had the other model (3.00 / 1)
The guitar was used almost exclusively by Harrison in the Get Back recording sessions and was chosen by him to play the rooftop final performance on January 30, 1969. This performance was the film's final climax---the band's celebrated final live public performance atop Apple's roof. The group played 'Get Back', 'Don't Let Me Down', 'I've Got A Feeling', 'The One After 909' and 'Dig A Pony'. The next day, another performance was staged, this time in the Apple basement studio. With the cameras rolling, they performed and recorded 'The Long And Winding Road', and 'Let It Be', with Harrison using his Rosewood Telecaster. Shortly thereafter, the band would go their separate ways forever. By the end of 1969, each of the Beatles had designs on solo projects and began their own respective journeys to that end.
On December 1, 1969, George Harrison, along with Ringo Starr, attended Delaney & Bonnie's performance at London's Royal Albert Hall. Eric Clapton was on the bill that night and following the show asked Harrison if he would join the group for a few shows throughout Britain and Denmark. The next day, Harrison joined the tour and presented Delaney with a wonderful gift-his Fender Rosewood Telecaster. Harrison told Delaney "This is for what you did for me last night."
Delaney recalls that during the tour the various band mates would sometimes switch guitars, although he primarily used his newly acquired Rosewood Telecaster. Since that special day in 1969, Delaney has cherished the 'early Christmas gift' bestowed upon him by Harrison. Guitar collectors and historians have long known the whereabouts of the instrument, but few have had the privilege of seeing it in person. The closest they have been able to come to admiring the Rosewood Telecaster has been via the two-page spread in which it is illustrated in Beatles Gear.
Delaney Bramlett has counted the guitar among his very dearest possessions and hopes that its new home will be with a collector who will treat it with the same respect and dignity he has for the nearly three decades it has been in his possession. The guitar is in fine condition and is accompanied by the hard shell case used by Bramlett to transport it as he toured with his Delaney Bramlett and Friends road show, of which Harrison and Eric Clapton were a part.
An unprecedented opportunity to acquire a truly world-class and historically significant instrument. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity written by Delaney Bramlett himself. $200,000 and up.

Hillary Clinton, who by the way I think is eye candy, not sure why, has issued a "provocative" statement on Iran. So expect Stuey to have some impending armageddon thread up soon. FailFake is bound to throw in a new one on this too.

My aircraft forum got an estimated 700 visitors yesterday. Wow. Too bad I won't be able to sustain the growth. This next video was put together well, but unfortunately the editor has put in too much of the NWO conspiracy angle. I think chemtrails are for mitigating uv-b rays, and I've explained that at my forum. Of course you have guys like Rumsfeld making money off of pharmaceuticals. There is a propensity of the conspiracy theorists to link that to chemtrails, but I believe they are two separate issues. Though I do believe that chemtrails have led to an explosion in upper respiratory illness and may be responsible for the spikes in diseases such as alzheimers and multiple schlerosis. Uhm, one other mistake this video made, there were a few more, was to say Kucinich sponsored a bill with the word chemtrails in it. He did not. Chemtrails was included in the draft of a bill but so were extra-terrestrial space weapons. Those were put in from someone named Carol Rosin, who appears to be the proverbial disinformation queen.

This next one I believe is representative of the fact that chemtrails are for mitigating the harmful effects of uv-b rays. Geoengineering plans are meant for the stratosphere. Most chemtrailing appears to be taking place in the upper troposphere. Paul Crutzen has said that ozone in the troposphere is more effective in attenuating such harmful solar effects than that found in the stratosphere. A totally blue sky implies low humidity. You need a certain amount of that for the development of cirrus aviaticus. When it's a clear day and low humidity, the operations are forced to continue with the assaults. On a few occasions I've seen them blast the whole sky from horizon to horizon. Most of the other times I've seen chemtrailing on totally blue sky days, the buggers have limited the "spraying" to the area located around the sun.

Hillary Talks Tough On Iran

DOHA, Qatar (CBS/AP)  -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday the Obama administration believes Iran is becoming a military dictatorship.

In remarks to Arab students at Carnegie Mellon's campus in Qatar, Clinton said the Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran appears to have gained so much power that it effectively is supplanting the government.

"Iran is moving toward a military dictatorship," she told the crowd.

Richard Haass, President of the Council on Foreign Relations think-tank in Washington, told "Early Show" co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez on Monday that Secretary Clinton's assessment was accurate.

Iran is "no longer a theocracy, it's a thug-ocracy," quipped Haass . . .
