Not your best stuff donkeytale (3.00 / 1)
Picture watching Morton Downey Jr. on mushrooms, and that's what this read like. A nightmare. You can clearly do better than this.

But it gets me thinking. I never would have even seen this entry, if you hadn't bumped it up with the Beatles' video.

Laura should frontpage our stuff automatically. Everyone's. She should give us a limit, say, we can write up to three diaries a week. Then frontpage them all. Unless she's scared of having a successful blahg. [/Boston accent]

The great thing about the Lordship and Fail Fairleft is you kind of know all you need to through their title. With us, it's more like a box of crackerjacks. You anticipate that prize at the bottom. Sometimes it's lame, like with this diary, but often times, one is quite content with what arrives.

Well, if you ever wanted to get into a topic I've been into, here's your chance. The Michael Connell threatened by Karl Rove hoax is the biggest joke on the internet. Al Giordano is turning out to be a very nasty sophist over at dfq2. He's starting to bore me.

Otherwise, I must say [/Ed Grimley], it's tough to stop thinking about the lovely and talented doberlass.

1. This dairy does suck (hence I've edited down to its essence)

and

2. The genius of "Suspicious Minds" hinges on the irony of the fact that he is obviously guilty of adultery.
Dwight did a nice, hard-driving version, too.

Another ironical masterpiece in my set:

One of my most reliable karaokkke kkklassics, notable because I always added in the Spanish-inflected English of Iglesias, which usually managed to draw laffs from the few bored drunks in the crowd who were actually paying attention.

I was watching the King sing Suspicious Minds. There was a moment there, he says something like I never lied to you, but then he says not much, and you could see Presley had an inside laugh, you just knew he knew that this King representation was a farce, and it was ultimately making him feel like crap, not that different from feelings acts of adultery must evoke.

Another thing, towards the end, the tv show put Elvis into split screens. I've always felt that was a very effective medium, of course never better utilised than by the real King of acting, William Shatner.
