The Free Speech Zone Blog continues scrambling to portray itself as some spontaneous form of opposition to the obvious lameness which is Daily Kos. One of its frontpage bloggers is "Pinche Tejano." One of the reasons myself and donkeytale have bonded, is because we both have a clear view of a blogosphere gone corrupt. FSZ seems to think people are gonna buy into the ludicrous notion, that we are the same person. I've seen this before. One attacks someone or a group for being insidious. The other side then retorts that the messenger is the real troll. Think of it this way. Armando for a long time was pimped as being the king trollbuster. Hello, McFly. Armando is the historic troll!

Or think of it this way. When myself, may41970, and the_last_name_left busted a disinfo website affiliated to Michael Rivero named the What Really Happened "Unofficial" Forum, we were the ones ending up being cybersmeared. The sophisticated script even pushed the idea that we were in the Mossad. Not fooling. Run for the hills!! It's the Jooooos!!!!!

This is how right woos left works. Folks from the right, such as Alex Jones, Michael Rivero, Jeff Rense, Tom Flocco, Larry Johnson, Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, and many others astroturf that they are driving the progressive bus. At first, nearly every left winger becomes captivated with such sources, especially towards the earlier part of this decade. They provided us with links and ideas, that the mainstream media was late to publish, such as that fascism had arrived in America.

They talked up ideals of patriotism, democracy, but hey, even Lyndon LaRouche can sound pretty good after a couple tokes, if you're not aware it's himself doing the writing, and you hit the a good excerpt. The problem is, however, that such people do not have progressive values. They are not into every person having equal educations, housing, and health care. They are not against all wars. They are not big advocates for social and environmental justice. What they represent are opportunists, who could see that the country would eventually swing back to the left. Cheney's approval rating was at 19%. The economy was in the gutter. The non-action during the Katrina Hurricane crisis was the last straw.

It's clear what Obama is doing. He is driving the right woos left bus. He is trying to bury the Republicans. That doesn't mean he is a pure Democrat. For all intents and purposes, Obama is right of center. Obama in reality is a Republican.

He reminds me of William Weld of Massachusetts, another Republican who "succeeded" in portraying himself as some sort of progressive moderate. The problem is, extraordinary problems demand extraordinary actions. Obama is throwing away his chance to save the planet in a cynical attempt to consolidate power.

Here are two more examples, before we expose Pinche Tejano for being some sort of political operative or worse or some nasty form of useful idiot. Arianna Huffington used to be Republican. She was perhaps similar to Obama, right of center. She did the 180 turn. She has been the female version of Markos Moulitsas. Both of them are right woos left opportunists. Then there is Christopher Hitchens. He used to be a progressive from the left. He miscalculated and sided with the fake war on terror crowd. It may have paid him some dividends a few years back, but where is he now? Is he gonna say, oops, can I get a do over?

Tejano is the Ron Paul right woos lefty type. Listen, or better yet, read, Ron Paul is a Republican. He's had racist ties. There is not a shred of progressive in him. He may deserve kudos for having been against the war, but there is no reason at all for him to have gotten so much coverage on progressive blogs. Same with Alex Jones. Bet on it with milk.

There's some kind of bad cointelpro-like stench coming out of FSZ. Cointelpro was the original right woos left. They would infiltrate leftist peace and political groups and corrupt them from within. The FSZ crowd is trying to portray themselves as being the descendents of old school activism, e.g. with street protests. The other day I busted Jack yet again doing a scrub job. He wrote a follow up diary on the Hempstead thingie where Iraq War veterans against the Iraq War have been getting plugged. One of the guys got his head cracked by a police horse. Well, abbeysbooks made a poignant post in which she told of Norman Mailer's account of US soldiers beating on civilians during Vietnam War protests. She also mentioned how soldiers would be dispersed from one part of the country to others, so strangers could beat on strangers.

Jack's persona as a street activist is wound tighter than a roll of generic toilet paper. Why'd he delete Abbeysbooks' post? Because she was holding US soldiers accountable? What kind of right woos left nonsense is that to censor the truth?

Pinche Tejano lives in New York. I have a strong feeling in my gut that he is close to Jack, as in they talk on the phone and meet in pubs. Guess who Pinche Tejano also has hanged out with? Michael Bouldin of the UGOGs.

In essence, I agree with you. I might not have the time to respond to all your posts, but I have read and taken them to heart.

The usernames are dead ends, especially at the lower levels like Blues and Lasthorseman. My game went up a notch, once that was realised. Why indeed get into confusing give and takes with Mattes, Lasthorseman, Lauren S, JSR, and Blues, when one can make enlightening entries on Carto, Rivero, Jones type ilks? The challenge is to show how their memes have ended up in the left-o-sphere. That's where my stuff on Larisa, BradBlog, Hertzberg, Johnson, ugh sorry to namedrop... When I have been able to show how the right wing crap gets into our field of vision, how subsequently their memes get astroturfed as originating from the left, that's when I get shit on the most. A guy like Wayne Madsen is another good example to go with Alex Jones' politics of the police state. My thinking is that they become disinfo fodder for a tinfoil by association campaign. That's why I ended up thinking Kimberlin could be cointelpro-like. He came up with hoaxes centering around "election fraud." Because of him, Larisa, BradBlog et al, and their being protected by Democratic Underground's rigged moderating system, Kos has been able to spin his ban on "election integrity" chatter and come out ahead.

If Kos had simply put a clamp on the KosKop phenomenon instead of sanctioning it, he could have continued to dominate the net. Now we are left with Huffington getting the mega-hits. And that is a shame for any prospects for the democratisation of the blogosphere. HuffPost is simply not set up for loooosers like us to have any chance of being heard.

I actually smiled when I saw how you get it in regards to Willis Carto. I'm gonna ignore the pitbulls as much as possible. If they can't back up such bullshit, e.g. that we are the same person, if we can continue to plod on with solid content, then we win, and they lose.

Yeah, I was watching that. Now the site says it's "Down for Maintenance". The poster of that "lawsuit" is a guy (?) posting as "Will Kane", May41970", "Socrates", "Not-Ed", etc.. He has so many aliases he has conversations with himself. This latest little fracas is just him (they?) being disruptive again. It's a real shame too because a lot of people share great information there. Every time something gets going there he (they) is (are?).
He's been doing that at several other sites as well. I'm not sure what anybody does about it but there are a lot of folks who've had it. This latest little bit is the fake attorney ploy "M. Cohen" esq. I guess. I've known a lot of attorneys and most of them can spell. They usually don't go around threatening "possible jail time" either. My favorite pare was the "be so adviced (sic)".
I hope he didn't do any permanent damage there. Others who know his tricks say he's some sort of 'computer genious' or something. Who knows, could be? I think he did something there that's causing others to not be able to access the site.

May41970, the "Science in the News" section at DBS is an interesting part of the Forum because you see the extremes of society all rolled into one.

At the positive end of the Spectrum, you have honest people such as Foot_soldier, myself, Weatherman714, Lou and CDsnutz.

And then at the other end of the spectrum you have:
1. the infamous Jay Reynolds - the most delusional psychotic I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with;
2. Jeff Reynolds (aka Socrates and a few other personalities) - a Republican sympathizer and an apologist for the commercial airlines;
3. Halva - a cult-trained Fascist masquerading as a Socialist or a Communist whose main claim to fame is his ability to disrupt all normal, useful forms of communication with half-wit, neopolitical gibberish.

In between these extremes you have everyone else including the odd character who should not be allowed near a keyboard.

Should you join DBS - that depends on whether you wish to engage in Forum Debate or simply use the Personal Messenging (PM) system. The latter should be fine although be warned that sometimes that the person you think you want to interact with may not be the person you do interact with. By this I mean that I regard all PMs as confidential including the ones I have from Socrates and I will not release them for publication. I cannot say the same of others.

Sometimes The ip locator websites aren't good enough, and they give some central office or whatever hundreds of miles away. But there is one that's kind of dependable. You can test them with your own ip.

I use ip lookups when I get a new member. The other day, a prospective newbie was using a proxy. I wasn't gonna necessarily block him or her from being a member for that. But it was showing up on google searches for a spamming list. Then, I searched the username. It was some numbnut who joins forums to put spam in their signatures.

The only other reason I would be interested in an ip, is if it led to a military or odd address like that. But I have no program to run off a list of my visitors. They kind of aren't that important or give too much info. They can be good though, for situations like donkeytale and myself being slandered as being the same person, a serious charge. An admin can sometimes verify if someone is using a sock puppet. I busted someone at Debate Both Sides doing that. Another time I busted one of my cyberstalkers who had followed me to BradBlog.

I know or knew donkeytale's ip, because he signed up at my place. He picked the wrong check off though, so it didn't work out. Not important. I don't blame him for not wanting to have to learn bb code over html. But the main thing I can tell everyone, is that he is located in Texas, just as he has claimed.
